After the SCR950 argument, this one popped onto my radar - brand new 2018 Z125 Pro, for under 2 grand. I can pay that in cash tomorrow and not blink an eye. No trading of bikes, it just means I have three and I’m not sure I’m ready for that just yet. Mostly because I want to repair and upgrade my other bikes but then I’d be riding this one instead.

I have multiple friends who want to learn how to ride a bike and I want something small and light since the KLR and the Triumph are both rather.....ponderous. I live in a city environment too so I would like something to bomb around downtown on. But I also wonder if I’m more of a 2-bike kind of guy....

I need to go sit on it for a bit and see if I can join the grom squad in town.

I’ve been eyeing these too. A Grom competitor at less than 2/3 the price sounds like a solid low-risk bike.

Buy it and report back!

I flew 1000 miles to buy a Volvo from an Oppo member, AFTER my previous Volvo blew up within a week of owning it. I can honestly say my last three car purchases wouldn’t have happened without Oppo, so b elieve me, I understand completely.

If you test out products on the bike it's basically a work expense, right?

....I drive 40 miles per day. Thanks to construction, the side streets might be faster. I just roughly calcula ted the gas savings at 16 0$+ per month.

Hmmmm now. Checks internet. 2018 Z125 Pro KRT Replica is AU$4, 135 ride away.

And the 2019 model is only 800 dollars more.

I think I might need to get my bike licence....
